01 · Document drafts

The first draft is done. The judgment stays yours.

Before · a blank page at 9 p.m.After · a draft on your template, ready for your review

  • Contracts, filings and letters10 drafts a month, built from your instructions, your templates and your style.
  • You review, edit and signNothing leaves your office as final until you approve it. You are the attorney of record, always.

A draft's pathExample

1Your instructions

  1. "Engagement letter, flat fee, our standard template."

2The draft

  1. On your template, with blanks flagged where your judgment is needed.

3You decide

  1. You edit, approve and sign. Only then is it a document.

NEO prepares drafts for a licensed attorney. It does not give legal advice to anyone, and it does not practice law.

02 · Legal research memos

Research you can check line by line.

Before · hours of searchingAfter · a memo with every source listed

Research memoExample structure · for attorney review

AQuestion presented

  • Your question, in your words.
  • The facts you gave us, nothing more.

BSources found

  • Statutes, rules and cases, each with its citation.
  • Every citation marked for you to verify before you rely on it.

CDraft analysis

  1. How the sources may apply, as a draft.
  2. Open questions and what's still missing.
  3. Your conclusion is yours to write.

4 memos a month with your subscription. A memo is a starting point for your own analysis, never a legal opinion.

03 · Explainer content

Clients find you because you explained it first.

Before · a website nobody updatesAfter · 4 articles and 4 videos a month

  • General-information articles for your site, written to be found on search engines and in AI answers.
  • Short explainer videos for your site and social, with your approval on every word.
  • Within your state's rules on lawyer advertising: no promised outcomes, no misleading claims, disclaimers where they belong.
  • Anything made with AI is labeled as such.

Content is general information, never legal advice to a reader. You approve it before it's published, and you're responsible for meeting your bar's advertising rules; we write with them in mind.

  1. Hi, my landlord is keeping my deposit. Can I sue him?
  2. I'm the firm's intake assistant. I can't give legal advice, but I can set up a consultation with an attorney. What's your name and a good number to reach you?
  3. Dana, 555-0142.
  4. Thanks, Dana. Please don't send documents or details here yet. Thursday at 10:00 or 3:30?
  5. 3:30 works.
  6. Booked: Thursday, 3:30 p.m. with the attorney. You'll get a confirmation shortly.

Example conversation with fictional names. Booking a consultation doesn't create an attorney-client relationship; the assistant says so on your website, in the words you approve.

05 · Reminders and deadlines

Nothing slips through the cracks.

  • Reminders to clients: appointments, documents to bring, payments due.
  • Deadline reminders for your team, from the dates you set.
  • You keep the official calendar; the reminders are a second pair of eyes, not a substitute for your docketing.

06 · Internal tools

Before you decide

What attorneys ask us most.

Does NEO give legal advice?
No. NEO doesn't give legal advice to you, your clients or anyone else, and it doesn't practice law. It prepares drafts, research and content for a licensed attorney, who reviews, decides and signs.
Who is responsible for the work?
You are, as the attorney. Every draft and memo is a starting point you review and approve; every citation is listed so you can verify it.
What about client confidentiality?
Your clients' information is handled confidentially, used only for your matter and shared only with the providers needed to do the work. Tell us your firm's confidentiality requirements and we work within them.
Does the intake assistant talk to my clients about their case?
No. It only collects contact details and the type of matter, and books a consultation. When someone asks a legal question, it says it can't advise and offers a consultation with you.
Is my advertising compliant with the bar's rules?
We write with lawyer-advertising rules in mind: no promised outcomes, no misleading claims, disclaimers where they belong. Rules vary by state, so you approve every piece before it's published.
Do unused items roll over?
What your subscription includes renews every 30 days and doesn't roll over. Pieces and packages you buy separately never expire.
How do I pay?
The subscription is monthly and single pieces are per order. Before we start, we confirm in writing how and when you're billed.
What is NEO and what does it cost?
Your AI partner: you tell it what you need and it hands you the work finished. Your account is free, members are unlimited, and you buy credits only when you need them. See NEO and credit top-ups.
